I am reading the “The User Illusion” (now on chapter 13). I just want to tell you how much I appreciate this book… I am 73 and find it hard to believe there is so much about the phenomenal world that humans have been able to begin to appreciate/understand/realize that is not a visible part of our various cultures… My contact with insights (that are not just wishful thinking) has been through reading such material and then saying to myself “that makes sense” there has been (of course) a lot of self deception involved at times, but without these venues of further exploration I probably would have come to and end with only a feeling of dispair…
